The line graph displays the number of travellers who visited the UK and who went abroad from the UK between 1979 and 1999, Whereas the bar chart illustrates the nations which were famous among UK citizens for travel in 1999. Overall, UK locals who travel to overseas nations are higher than the visitors from the other three nations who visit their country (UK), where France was the most well-liked country to travel to by UK residents. In the line chart, the figure for foreigners who visited the UK was around 10 million in 1979 and continuously increased slightly. In 1989, the traveller number of the three nations reached 20 million and slowly rose to approximately 25 million in 1999. The number of UK citizens who visited abroad was just over 10 million in 1979, while after around seven-year, the number climbed to 20 million and then from there, the traveller data substantially soared to over 50 million in 1999. In the 1999 bar graph, almost two and half million UK citizens travelled to Turkey and 3 million to Greece. The third most famous visited country was the USA that with approximately 4 million UK locals. Spain and France were highly popular visited nations with around 9 million and 11 million respectively
