This bar chart gives information about how much minutes had been spending by local, national, international and mobile calls in the UK from 1995 to 2002.
Overall, the amount of minutes used by British people in the country or from abroad, also mobile calls showed an upward trend and increased stably during the whole period of time. This also was true for local calls till the end of century, but there was a constant decrease from middle till the end of the period and the statistic was the same as at the first year.
Calls in the city rose from about 72 billion minutes in 1995 to 90 billion minutes in 1999, which was the highest point in the chart. However this figure dumped during the three years, and returned to the starting position.
Another two graphs steadily increased from 1995 to 2002. In the first year about 5 billion minutes were used by UK people for mobiles and about 37 billion minutes for national and international calls. By rising the amount of minutes for about 2, 5% every year, these categories reached approximately 45 and 61 billion minutes respectively in 2002.
