The chart illustrates the proportions of family earnings spent in 5 different categories in 2 countries (South korea, Singapore) measured in a 20 year period. Overall, in both countries, there were significant changes observed in different categories. Other groups in South Korea being the highest in percentage(29%) in the starting year, but then lowest in percentage(7%) when compared to South korea in 2020. Singapore, whereas, had Housing with the highest proportion in both the years occupying nearly a fourth of the pie chart. Family income spent in housing and health care in South korea rose by about 10 percent in between years 2000 and 2020. Food and Transport, simlarly, had a marginal rise of around 5 percent in the 20 year period. While, other categorie was the only one which had a drastic drop from 29 percent to 7 percent in the 20 mark period. Similarly, housing and transport were increased (6% and 10%) in Singapore being 40% in housing and 16%% in transport by the end of the year 2020. Furthermore, Health care rose marginally by around 3%. Regards to the remaining categories in expenditure, there was an approximate 10% drop in food and other groups from 26% to 18% and 27% to 16% in the 20 years meausred.
