The bar graph illustrates that the number of people affected by different types of noises categorised as traffic, train, aircraft and Industry during the day and night in all areas in Europe in 2007.
Overall, most of the people got affected by traffic rather than industry. The sound pollution from trains and aircraft is quite low.
It is evident that the sound affected people during day time are more than the night time. The traffic sounds affects 64 million people during day and 48 million people at night time. There are 10 million people during day and 8 million people at night got disturbed by train noises. The aircraft sounds affects less people at night where the count is exactly equal to the industry sound affected people during day time which is 1 million. The aircraft noise affects 4 million people during the day. There are only quarter of the million people affected by the industry noise at night times.
