The three given graphs below illustrate data on the budget of the police in two years (2017-2018) in a specific region of Britain.
Overall, it appears from the graphs that most of the money comes from the national government, and over half of the total budget is spent on officers and staff salaries.
In 2017, the police were given 175. 5m pounds from the national government, 91m from local taxes, and only 38m from grans and other sources. When it comes to spendings, 75% of 304. 7m were spent on salaries, while 25% were spent on technology, buildings and transports.
However, in 2018, the total budget increased to 318, 6m, with a slight increase in the government input and a significant on by taxes. 69% of the money were also put on salary, when 6% of the money in 2017 has been put onto technology.
