The World is experiencing dramatic increase in population, this is causing problems not only for poor, underdeveloped countries, but also developed nations. Describe some of the problems that overpopulation causes, and suggest at least one possible solution.

Wars were the major cause of decreasing in population. Despite different areas are under attacks of different countries nowadays, the last Worldwide war was nearly seven decades ego. Therefore, in the last seventy years numbers of human have increased logharitmically. Over population seems to be a problem of underdeveloped countries but it affects all the World. Different solutions have been tried to overcome this issue. For instance, China’s ‘one child policy’ which did not work properly. Because most of the families wanted to have a boy and due to the abrortion restrictions some new born baby girls were murdered. Increasing number of boys will result in unbalanced gender distribution which can cause certain crimes such as rape. This is an obvious example of uselessness of oppressive aproaches. On the other hand, education can be the golden key of this problem. Governments can educate peoples as they are young. Schools may play an active role in family planning. Every members of the society grow up with the knowladge of income-child number balance so if they can not afford they do not have babies. The most probable result of overpopulation is food shortage. Especially in underdeveloped countries starving is not a rare problem. With the help of infectious diseases such as AIDS, limited food consumption pose a threat to underage children. With proper treatments of infections those deaths can be prevented. Also, genetically modified crops, which can be harvested even in deserts, would be the solution of starvation. However, does it not mean that every baby can survive so people should have babies every year? Absolutely no. While we prevent the deaths which caused from poverty, we have to teach the contraception ways and why they are necessary. In conclusion, growing population is a rising problem. I believe education maybe helpful to stop the tremendous increasing in population rather than strict rules.
