The story of my hobby. What is the hobby? How did you find it out?

Hobby is something we do frequently in one’s leisure for pleasure. Hobbies do play an important role in human’s life as they make us feel rejuvenated and satisfied, even when our lives are going through some disappointing phase. There comes a time in everybody’s life when they are feeling at a loss for words. There are moments when people want to communicate their feelings but can’t find the words to explain those feelings. At those times, painting or drawing is the perfect way to communicate your feelings to the world. Basically, my ultimate hobby is painting or making art. I have been living for years without knowing what my actual hobby is, and I have done many activities that I thought I would like for ages. I actually started painting when I was in middle school and I have won multiple awards but I don’t really into that at the moment and I don’t think it is my hobby. Nevertheless, back in 2021, one of my English teachers started doing art and I got the inspiration from him and from this, I started painting along with finding out that painting is my actual hobby. Firstly, I started painting with the medium: acrylic on canvas and the feeling that I get when I paint on canvas can’t be replaced with others. I normally enjoy painting vegetables, flowers and landscape yet, I do better on vegetables and flowers painting. Sometimes, I am stressed out due to my studies, at the time, I sketch abstractly with multiple layers and it actually relieves a lot. Making art is very fun and I adore all the art forms. Moreover, in the same year around September, I bought an iPad in order to be productive and to study more. As I also buy a stylus, I also did want to try digital art and it is booming around the world in this century. I bought a paid drawing app called Procreate and started making some sort of painting. I can get unlimited materials, brushes, and colors and it is also really convenient as I can try multiple mediums such as acrylic, oil, watercolor, and many others as well. I like to draw or paint landscapes on digital art and I find it amazing. I have only over 20 paintings as I can’t really give time on that because I am struggling with my studies. Making art is something that makes me feel calm and creative. Now, I have developed this talent, and I can do pretty decent paintings. Before going to university, I would like to make more art and additional art styles such as portraits and still life and want to be an expert in this area.
