A sharing of my favorite quotation that everyone should know

A sharing of my favorite quotation that everyone should know L1x3n
I think this quote means we don't know how crucial health is until we aren't healthy, just like how we don't realize the value of money, until we run out of it. We don’t notice on a daily basis how effortlessly we inhale and exhale through our lungs, how properly food is digested in our stomach, and how full of energy we feel. Many of us take our health for granted. However, when we are sick, we start to complain about our poor state of health/the good health we lack. That brings me to my question: Why do some people never appreciate when they are healthy and lack gratitude for being well? Last April, while preparing for a singing competition, I got infected with Covid 19 because I was in close contact with many people without wearing a mask. I had a sore throat, and coughed so much for many days. After this COVID-19 infection, I still felt the pain and tightness in my chest. During that time, I really regretted being careless. I'm so thankful that these symptoms only lasted for 2 weeks. The thing is, lately, I've started to pay more attention to my health. Because I am only given one life, I believe I need to make sure that I am taking good care of my health. If I’m more thankful for when I’m in good physical condition, maybe sickness won’t be so bad.
