In recent years, there is a trend of ‘responsible tourism’, which pays attention to both local culture and environment. However, there are still people who think that ‘responsible tourism’ is impossible to implement in reality. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

In recent years, there is a trend of ‘responsible tourism’, which pays attention to both local culture and environment. However, there are still people who think that ‘responsible tourism’ is impossible to implement in reality. O1x7y
Recently, there is a responsible tourism trend which is more popular, while the others claim that it is not viable for all societies to apply. Personally, I strongly believe that this trend will happen for a certainty. Firstly, being able to conduct responsible tourism relies totally on individuals by issuing strict rules and regulations. The government enforces their citizens must follow those rules and the travelers should learn all of them carefully to avoid heavy fines, even having their passport confiscated, and banning travel to that country forever. For example, in Singapore, cameras are put everywhere, if some tourists non-compliance with regulations such as throwing garbage indiscriminately or unconsciously stepping on the grass, they would be summoned to headquarters and handled according to rules and regulations. Moreover, raising the residents’ awareness is also a crucial factor to improve responsible tourism. Parents and schools should teach children how to keep the environment clean and fresh by guiding them to pick up garbage, turning off faucets or lights when not in use. Furthermore, the government also plays a main role in disseminating beautiful images of their country through media channels parallel to raise the awareness of tourists. Because the travelers are unaware that they are staying in a civilized and developed country, they realize that the people have high consciousness, from which they also improve their understanding of heritage and culture conservation when traveling in that country. In conclusion, although it still has some mixed opinions, I believe that there are many helpful and workable ways to improve that trend in the reality.

  • Some school children have less natural ability to learn other languages. Therefore, it is not right to force these school children to learn a foreign language.

However, I completely disagree with this notion as not only learning capability of an individual at an early age is more but also kn...
