Some school children have less natural ability to learn other languages. Therefore, it is not right to force these school children to learn a foreign language. To what extent do you agree or disagree

It is argued that few students have less receptive power to grasp different languages; as a result, these learners should not be forced to learn a non-native language. However, I completely disagree with this notion as not only learning capability of an individual at an early age is more but also knowledge of foreign language is beneficial for children's growth and development. To embark on, there are several merits of studying a overseas language at an early age. Primarily, grasping power of children is more at this age and they can easily master any language. In other words, it is scientifically proved that children are more curious to learn new things in their life due to which they could master any language easily without any difficulty. Because of this, for instance, in many countries number of languages are taught at primary level along with native language. Moreover, at primary level, children have less burden of any work or studies, owing to which, they can understand foreign language without any hassle. Although, natural ability of learning other language of some students less, it can be improved with the passage of time if they start taking interest in their childhood days. Besides this, learning a foreign language brings benefit in terms of growth and development of a person. In simple words, when children learn different languages, they can easily translate one language to another and vice-verca; consequently, it helps in improving their imagination and motor skills. To illustrate, researchers have shown that multilinguals are more intellectual as compared monolingual. Furthermore, job oppurtunities for person speaking foreign language are more as compared to others. As, in this competitive era, most of the MNC's gave preference to hire multilingual people because of their worldwide operation.
