the picture shows the stages which take place in the water cycle from the sea to air to land throughout the natural processin general, there are three main stages in the cycle of water, starting with the evaporation of seawater. in the first stage, there is approximately 80% of the amount of water vapour in the air comes from the ocean. Then water is evaporated by heat of the sun and the vapour of seawater condenses to make clouds. after the formation of clouds, water from the precipitation falls as snow or rain. in the end of the water cycle, rainwater may flow in different directions. some of rainwater may fall in lakes or return to the oceans following by surface runoff. on the other hand, rainwater soaks into the ground, reaching the impervious layer. after groundwater passes into the seas, there is a salt water intrusion into seawater. The water cycle starts again at the same place where it begins.
