The usage of energy drinks is growing nowadays. The use of energy drinks adverse effects on human beings. They are being used to increase energy level. The trend of energy drinks is growing in our society especially in youngsters. Energy drinks are quite common nowadays and it is causing rise of major medical problems and is damaging human body. Firstly, energy drinks consist of caffeine which if taken in large amount can cause damage to liver and kidney and can also lead to insomnia as well as nausea. It can also cause chronic diseases in human’s body. Secondly, it contains a large portion of sugar which also damages kidney and liver. It can also lead to diabetes. Thirdly, the over usage of energy drinks can lead to severe medical conditions and can even lead up to death. Finally, it is having addiction like effects on human beings just like other drugs. Researches have stated that energy drink addiction is having much worse effects than other drugs. Researches have also stated that it is much easier to get addicted to energy drinks than to other drugs. Some stats and figures have also illustrated that a large amount of admitted patients in hospitals due to chronic diseases are mostly because of over usage of energy drinks. The usage of energy drinks must be reduced. Awareness must be raised among people regarding its harmful effects. Advertisements and posters should be posted everywhere displaying adverse effects of energy drinks. This growing trend must be stopped. Government should play its major role in doing so. A tax could be implemented so people would reduce buying them. This reduce in trend will not only be beneficial for mankind but will also play a vital role in reducing major medical problems. Furthermore, this would lead to a decline in mortality rate as well as would play major role in declining diseases.
