Scientific and technological advances bring benefits to our daily life. However, most scientists are no longer able to find the solutions to the problems they have created. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Scientific and technological advances bring benefits to our daily life. However, most scientists are no longer able to find the solutions to the problems they have created. aBQxV
Technological advances have shown their importance to our daily life. On the other hand, such developments also come with various problems. Taking this into account, several people hold the view that mechanical improvements are not beneficial. This essay will discuss the drawbacks of those scientific advancements and why are most scientists unable to tackle them. Firstly, although it is true that technological advances do play a significant role in our life, these inventions also bring about a number of environmental problems. There are countless innovations that enrich our life, bring in unprecedented conveniences including televisions, smartphones, computers, etc. At the same time, the process of making them causes problems such as air pollution, water pollution and large garbage production, which have been a pressing issue in recent years. Toxic gases emitted from factories is a good point in case. Not only can this worsen the air quality, but it could also attribute to the depletion of the ozone layer. Secondly, the advent of cutting-edge technologies promotes unemployment. From the economic point of view, new robots are more preferred compared to humans on account of their reliability, efficiency, and sustainability. Large companies nowadays have a tendency to prefer these smart machines over manual labor. Nevertheless, the extensive use of intelligent robots is likely to cause vast unemployment, turning the unemployed into social burdens since they have no job. Some might claim that such drawbacks could not outweigh the convenience. However, most scientists are no longer able to find ways to tackle the problems. Their innovations are becoming indispensable tools in almost everywhere in the world. As a result, the enormous demand for making such inventions would cause unavoidable problems such as pollution and labor laid-off, which are beyond scientists’ reach. It is a common sight to see scientific inventions appearing in the modern world. Despite the advantages, environmental problems and serious unemployment that scientists are no longer able to tackle, could be brought about by technological advances.
