The line graph provides information about the difference between female and male wages in the USA between 1975 and 2005 for four age ranges. In general, it can be an increase in women's earnings concerning men during the period shown in the graph. As is observed from the line graph, the ladies of 16 to 24 earned more than the females of the other age groups who are more than 24 years old. The younger women’s wages peaked in 1985 and levelled off at around 90%. Moving to a more detailed analysis, there was a slight increase in the first five years for the two younger age ranges. For the 45 to 54 years group, there was a vaguely decrease from 1975 to 1980, and in 200o it peaked at a little over 70%. In the third range, there were two cliffs, the first in 1995, then it decreased until 2000 when there was a second rise. Consequently, in 2005 it can be seen a similar percentage of both vast age groups: for the younger two groups, the wages were about 90% of men’s wages; instead, for the remaining two groups, the wages were almost 75% of men’s wages.
