the government should impose a fee on drivers who use their vehicles during the rush hour to help cut down on air pollution from exhausting fumes j1krX
It is a common belief that drivers should not be charged when using their vehicles at a rush hour, even though it harms the environment. Nevertheless, I firmly believe that imposing fees would do a lot of benefits because it can cut the number of vehicles driving on the street and protect the environment. First of all, a fee upon private vehicles would probably discourage people from driving their cars, easing congestion traffic. Should a payment be imposed higher than the price of public transportation, citizens will find public transport to replace their daily commute, stemming from lower prices. As far as I know, a few major cities have successfully implemented such a scheme, resulting in the plunge in amounts of harmful air pollutants, creating a better living environment for inhabitants and tourists. Additionally, money collected from such fees helps fund a variety of projects that can vastly improve citizens' quality of life. This money frequently goes toward making busy cities greener. Furthermore, this additional money can aid tremendously in upgrading pre-existing public transport facilities such as bike rental services, street lights, or train stations. Yet, some detractors claim that this rush hour scheme will discriminate against financially disadvantaged people. To combat this problem, I would like to propose some practical solutions for all governments on all levels. First, poorer people can apply for this "rush hour" fee reduced or waived. Secondly, governments can subsidize public transport prices for rush hours. In conclusion, I strongly agree with the concept of increasing the taxes for car owners. In my opinion, fumes are extremely harmful to small children, pregnant women, and old people. The government should protect vulnerable members of society and increase safety in urban areas by decreasing the number of cars.
