The cost of flying has decreased significantly over the last decade. This has made overseas travel much more accessible. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of this trend

Researches have been conducted in the modern age which clearly depict that during the past decade, travelers are immensely increasing due to decrease in cost for flight tickets. This has made convenient and easily accessible for every individual to travel overseas whenever they want to. However, there are certain pros and cons which I will discuss in my essay. Many people are living and working outside of their home country, which means they are far away from their loved ones. Also, there are different cultural festival and rituals which vary for each individual belonging to their homeland needs to be a part of. Due to reduction in flight fares, everyone can easily travel and celebrate any occasion, it might be some religious gathering or a wedding ceremony. Moreover, people can explore different countries, enjoy visiting their cultural heritage and study its historical background. For instance, last year when I was having my summer holidays, I saw Turkish airlines had an amazing offer which covered round trip from United states to Karachi. I was lucky enough to avail that offer and explored different states of US. On the other hand, as the cost is low it will introduce huge traffic to airport as well increase pressure for staff to assist each person. Furthermore, less availability for any immediate flight will create difficulty for people. For example, if there is an emergency and someone wants to travel due to health issue or have to attend their blood relative’s funeral, it will become next to possible to get next available flight as others had already booked previously. To sum up, certain factors effect overall situation which varies from person to person. While having advantages for many individuals in terms of low cost for flying, some people might look for disadvantages they have to face due to it.
