The Brink Of Earth's Extinction

As scientist are scattered across a huge lab a disturbing sound interrupts them. They all rush to the main control room prepared of what’s about to happen. They all read in despair, and prepare the world for an unexpected turn of events. As the news of there being a super volcano that will most likely erupt spreads like a wild fire. Scientist predict the super volcano is twice as powerful as the last one recorded to be on planet Earth which was around 26500 BC. This was predicted to erupt and exceed the 100, 000km mark. There will be complete darkness from the thick smoke so thick no light can make it’s way to Earth’s surface. Shouts can be heard everywhere you go whether it’s at home or on private property. Humanity had 1 day to prepare itself against mother nature. They day flew by and the super volcano erupted, the super volcano blasted the air with its boiling lava as smoke as dense as orange brick wall filled up the air. The lava splatters on cities melting away everything that was ever there so sign of civilisation only blobs of lava to be seen. The space team and scientist load up a spacecraft with embryos of every existing creature and sending it to find a habitable planet for it to continue the race of humanity as everyone gathers around the spaceship arguing who should be the one to go with the 1000 embryos a burning scent catches the attention of one of the astronauts and he shrieks as he looks up to see lava about to rain down on them so he pushes everyone aside to sacrifice his life to save the other who all enter the spacecraft launching it as they launch the spacecraft which is humanity’s only hope as they enter the atmosphere full f nothing but smoke they soon reach space and stare down at Earth and saying there final goodbyes to the planet that they’ve been on for a long time.
