The bar chart depicts the ranking of top ten countries in terms of production and usage of electricity in 2014. In overview, China had the highest electricity usage and production, followed by United States.
Regarding electricity production, China topped at around 5398 billion kWh, which was almost the summation of the other eight countries except for United States. United States generated 4099 billion kWh, which was 10% less than China. For the remaining eight countries, electricity production varied from around 500 to 1000 billion kWh, which was apparently lower than the top two countries. Nonetheless, Korea had the lowest electricity production with only 485 billion kWh, which was even ten times lower than China.
Regarding electricity usage, China and United States also recored the highest units at over 4000 billion kWh, while the remaining eight countries's electricity usage was below 1000 billion kWh. Meanwhile, Korea also reported the lowest electricity usage with merely 450 million kWh.
