it is often argued that the enourmous spread of the English language around the world had a great benefit among people, while others believe that people should take more care in conserving and protecting their home language. in my opinion the spread of the english language is a crucial need to help in the development and communication of different nations arround the world.
first of all due to the spread of english language amoung younger generations it became easier for young people from different countries do express their thoughts and learn from each other. it also played a crucial role in the spread of the idea of studying aboard, where younger generations now prefer studing in a forgin country. reaserch paper and studies are now accessable to anyone. moreover it also played an important role in the spread of tourism and people are able to travel and communicate with basic english skills. in the past toursism wasnt wide spread as it was difficult for people to travel alone without a tour giude.
however there is also a negative impact that came with the various spread of english language, many local langauges started disappearing as people tend to focus on teaching younger generation english in young age and encouraging them to speak english more. which caused a great impact on their mother language as it beacmes less commuon to use.
in conclusion, while nowadays learning and speaking english became an irreplacable skill that everyone should know to be able to cope with the development of the world, it is also very important for people to start taking care of ther home language.
