Many argue that quizzes and exams are an important aspect of education systems in a lot of countries, some say that they aren’t that important. In this essay, I will mention the advantages of exams, since I believe that it is a lethal part in education. To begin with, if there are no exams, how would the teachers even know if the student is following up the studies? In other word, the student would not even be focusing in class and not paying attention to the lecture, then there is only one way for the teachers to make sure that students have paid attention in classes is by taking regular tests. For example, a student not paying attention in class, will be graduating into next class without having any information about the previous one and this will cause problems. Thus, having exams will make sure that students are getting proper knowledge required for future. Furthermore, knowing there are no exams, students won't be that attentive and responsible. To elaborate it, tests give the learners a responsibility that they have to prepare for it in order to gain marks. Without that, they will be careless and not fully prepared for the future. For instance, it is almost impossible for them to take no exams and be ready for future studies. As a result, examination will be preparing them for a better future. In conclusion, examination would help teachers understand how good their student is doing and also help them get ready for the future. All this explains that there are many advantages for examinations, and proves that examination is definitely a lethal part in school system.
