The benefits of this are the delivery is faster and the condition of goods is fresher. However, the drawbacks are the cost is higher than other types of carriages they might contain chemicals. One of the good points of transporting fruit and vegetables by plane could be its speed. Planes are considered the quickest way of delivering. From the place where the fruit is picked up, they get loaded on board and consequently are delivered directly to the destination. For that reason the second advantage pops up, which the freshness of products will be in an incredible state. Because the stores are out of use for the fruit and vegetables. For example, kiwis are imported via aircraft stay fresher than those delivered using other vehicles. Nevertheless, the downside of using air shipping in the industry of fruit and vegetables should also be mentioned. There are special airplanes to carry produce and they are occasionally larger in size and consume tons of fuel meaning that the shipment comes to a lot in price.
