Super markets should be increased or not
Super markets should be increased or not E0pLq
Around the world, big business firms are investing more in supermarkets, as a result, we can see there is significant growth in supermarket chains, which this led to a negative impact on local businesses and also led to the death of local communities. I strongly agree with this statement, the governments should limit these businesses and should focus on the development of local markets.
Supermarkets have seen significant growth compared to local businesses over the last decade, as a result, we can see decrement in local businesses, and this is not only affecting local vendors but also consumers. For example, people who want to buy daily essentials can't visit the supermarket, the reasons can be, taxes on purchases or higher prices, if he doesn't have an option such as local vendors, they choose supermarkets.
On the other hand, supermarkets' monopolies will be increased, if they are sole players in these markets, so the government should limit their monopoly and should give a boost to the development of the local markets, therefore equilibrium is well maintained. For an instance we can see that prices of certain products are high compared to local shops, people who have no option rather than these hypermarkets will pay a higher amount from their pockets, hence monopoly should be curtailed by the government, and should focus on the price of the products.
I conclude that first, the government should be more focused on the development of the local businesses rather than the closure of it. And addition to this it should bring stability in prices and should decide the price of a particular product and a fine should be imposed for selling it for higher prices.
