In the given maps industrial park in the town of Norbiton is drawn. These depict current factories and the planned development to make it a residential community, respectively. As illustrated in the first map, the current town has a lot of industries, most of which are in the central and eastern parts. Whereas, a river flows in the north of the town. And on the other side of the river is land for cultivation. The planned map depicts the future outlook of the given place. A number of houses will be built in the northwest of the town. Other selected lands for residences to be made are in the northeastern and southwestern regions. To expand the accommodation facility the land across the northern river is to be used. On top of it, to facilitate the inhabitants a medical centre will be constructed to the south. Whereas, shopping facilities will be provided in the southwest. However, a school will be situated in the east and a playground in the northeastern region. All in all, the industrial hub is planned to be rebuilt into a housing society with the provision of educational, medical and playing necessities. The fields’ area across the river is going to be smaller than the previous one and the people going to live here will have to come across the river to avail elementary healthcare, academic and shopping amenities.
