Suggestion on the youth trend for the Youth Festival

Introduction The objective of this proposal is to delve into the popular youth trends in Hong Kong. The trend of veganism has gained momentum and turned into a widespread trend that is being passionately discussed in society. In the light of this, the following activities are prospered with supporting reasons explained. Vegan Food-making Workshop In an effort to raise the awareness of veganism among teens, it is proposed that a vegan food-making workshop should be in place. Taking the first step is often times the hardest part of any journey, I’m sure by now we are aware of the pros of going vegan, to our earth and animals as well, for obvious reasons. However, we are never taught ways how to prepare them. I believe the uncertainties and lack of knowledge that we have, are what have kept a lot of us from making the first move. It is, therefore a good idea to organize a workshop dedicated to sharing and teaching the different preparations of vegan ingredients. The rationale behind this is that through that workshop, young people can learn from experienced vegans and collaborate their thoughts on Veganism as well, for example, they can share tips on what vegan ingredients to use to substitute their meat for our proteins intakes. This can effectively address a lot of concerns that people may have for going vegan and also allows for the event to be an incredible opportunity to gather a group of new vegans as well. A new group that is well-prepared and incredibly supportive of each other of their new journey. It is beyond dispute that organizing a vegan food-making workshop can serve valuable purposes for young people that are considering going vegan and provides a glimpse into how vegan food can be exciting and not bland in taste as well. Presentation In hopes of raising awareness of the animal cruelty problem, it is highly recommended that a presentation be introduced at the youtube festival as well. Currently, many people are aware of the existence of animal cruelty in our world. However, not many people, in contrast, recognizes the severeness of it. Only when people truly start to realize how much damage they are putting onto our Earth, can they be willing to start to do something about it. There is a lot to be said for having a presentation, and the most significant advantage is definitely the knowledge and the insights that they can get from professionals, we have always been over justifying our actions of eating meant just because it reflects the nature order our natural. But does it have to be this way? Do we really need to massacre animals just for us humans to survive? I believe most of us have the answer to that in our hearts already. Through this presentation, one can know more about the situation of animal cruelty and how we can combat it effectively. Not only that, but they can also discuss some of their views and thoughts towards the problem, where they could receive detailed and elaborative feedbacks from professionals, fostering and bring together the green community together. Undoubtedly, a presentation organized around the topic of animal cruelty can deepen the understanding of young people towards the issue and allows them to be gathered to combat the situation effectively. It is strongly believed that with the implementation of aforesaid suggestions, namely vegan-food making classes and a presentation around the topic of animal cruelty, the proposed objective can then be attained.
