some students have a background, identity that is so meaningful they believe their application would be incomplete without it. O1j
Most of teens experience several unique problems when they are going from adolescence to adulthood, and I am one of them. In my high school period, I dealt with a very tiring health problem. Almost every day I was experiencing pain due to digestive problems. I had days when I was on diets that forced me so much, and even I could not eat for days. Finally, a doctor diagnosed an anxiety disorder. He said that my body reacts with stomach pains against anxiety. It took an incredibly long time for me to come to terms with this situation. It was something that I have not encountered in anyone around me. Day by day, I understood that anxiety is a disease that can happen to almost every person. This process was very emotionally and physically exhausting for me. My turning point started with accepting this term. I used to go to the psychiatrist regularly and had long conversations with my doctors. Almost every day, I read articles and books about anxiety, listened to life stories of people who have the same trouble as me and finally, I saw that most of successful people have anxiety or experienced it in some part of their lives. I felt lonely, but I was not alone indeed. I had family and very close friends who had been supporting me from the beginning. I was an individual beyond my anxiety. I was having difficulty in a certain part of my life like any person. It was not my fault that I was experiencing it. If I gave up, nobody would fight for me because this was my life and I was the point guard. With my acceptance of it, everything went easier. I improved and got better by adding dozens of things to myself. Now when I look at the past, I see how big I have grown. Now I support people around me which have similar diagnoses. By sharing this process with people as much as possible, I explain that anxiety is not what it seems. Unfortunately, most people are afraid to seek help or think they will be called crazy by their familiars. But when you accept it and start getting treatment, life suddenly becomes colorful. The small window you look around grows and opens into a large garden which is full of flowers. As someone who has successfully completed my anxiety treatment and learned to live with it, I would like to add that nobody is worthless, even if some people say that. I can tell you this story as my identity. I would like to share it and avoided overwhelming you with too much detail.
