Study English in Canada or Mexico?

If you had an opportunity to travel and study English in another country like Canada, would you take this option? I think, yes. I would like to explain why prefer to study English in Canada. Canada has several advantages in comparison with Mexico like opportunities and practice. But it has one disadvantage: cost. Canada is one country with high quality of life. It has different options for better jobs and Multinational Companies. These companies need employers all the time. Additionally, you can take a break on terms in school. For example, you can work full time in summer. Mexico, on the other hand, has limited opportunities. People compete all the time with high professionals, they have masters and sometimes they speak two or more languages. In addition, you need to work 10 hours or more every day because demanding work is normal in Mexico. When you go out of the office at 9: 00 pm it’s unsafe, you need to take a taxi and never walk alone. Another advantage in Canada is you can practice all day all the time with native speakers. Canada is a multicultural country. This helps you to practice every day with other people. People are from Japan, China, Ukraine, and Mexico. You need to speak the same language to interact very well. For these reasons, you don’t need so much time to increase your skills. In contrast in Mexico, you only get to practice in class. Mexico doesn’t have a lot of native speakers. Typically, teachers are from Mexico. Consequently, you can’t practice all the time with native speakers. You need years to increase your abilities, such as speaking, writing, reading, listening and grammar. Canada, however, is expensive, and you need a plan with a big investment. In Canada, you need to consider paying rent because you don’t live here. Also, you need to pay for books in addition to assignments. Better Universities or Colleges are expensive. Canada has another option, but you need good schools for superior results. Mexico in this case is cheaper, and it has diverse options. You can surf the Internet and check diverse options with different costs. Books and materials are included in the cost of the course. When I lived in Mexico, I didn’t pay rent. In Conclusion, young people prefer to study outside Mexico, open their minds and build their future in another country. I prefer to study English in Canada because it’s a big country with different options and friendly people.
