Oh my god, some please help me, I’m too hot, my face is full of ugly fissures, smoke is everywhere, it’s so hard to breathe. I’m gonna be sick! Somewhere in the dark, Harry suddenly hears a strange intangible voice calling for help. The lastest thing he could remember was an old boring office where he was run out of ideas for the new work. Curiously, he said: “Hi! ”. But it seems like that creature could not hear him. Oh my dear Earth, what’s wrong? – said another creature. Hi Sun! I’m not very good. You see, everywhere in my body is so bad. My land skin, sea blood, stone bones are all polluted. Harry was trembled by the mystery conversation that surely between the Sun and the Earth. That’s hilarious! How could the planet and the star talk? He told himself firmly and tried to get out of that, but the Sun continues asking: That’s so bad! Why is it happening? I’m exhausted because of my children-humans. People are killing animals excessively. Also, they are making deforestation, dumping trash into the ocean, releasing unfiltered gases that make air and water pollution, climate change, etc. Along with those habits, they are also competing in markets, causing wars, … All these things are destroying the environment. However, they have been doing it for centuries without thinking of the result. At the beginning of my life, I had to go through many difficulties and then growing and growing until today, I “gave birth” to creatures including humans and have become the only planet that has life. I was hurt, but worth it. And today, my kids are doing my improving job, and I’m living in pain again. They apparently could still develop without harming nature, but many of them chose this fastest way. They just think about the achievement but forget the negative consequences. And this has gone too far and beyond my endurance. I’m dying! If people are hurt, either do I. If I'm sick, they couldn't avoid weakness as well. We are not separate. We live based on each other. So I need help from now on! Harry was impressed by the story of the Earth. He realized the necessity and urgency of protecting the planet, which he always called “Mother Earth” after that. He started going around the world, giving speeches and writing books to encourage people to take action to save the environment. In every of his activity, he emphasized: “The Earth is a fine place and worth fighting for. ” Besides, he pointed out what Mother Earth has been giving us and how we have been killing her, and what we do to Earth is we do to ourselves. Although Harry was not welcomed by many people, he never gave up. All he had, is belief and passion for healing our Mother. His job worked and has inspired many youngsters and people to protect nature and become an inspiration like him. Perhaps the conversation between the two inanimate objects was just an unrealistic dream that had incidentally made changes or was a call that Mother Earth has sent to him- the chosen one whose mission was to save our planet. What we need to do now is to make sustainable – which means to balance the development of 3 factors: economic, society and environment. If you don’t mind about these changes because u don’t have to deal with it, just think about the younger and younger generation, what your descendants might have to suffer from what we – their ancestor has done. Mother Earth has been giving us uncountable conditions, but whether what we are doing is worth that love? People’s apathy is bringing the environment to the ruin verge. That’s so unfair. Please stop! Let’s think about the future’s fate, of us, and our planet. We don’t have a planet B, so we gotta take care of the one we’re on. Before dreaming of becoming a superhero that saves the Earth, please be the person who is harmless to our beloved planet. The Earth is a fine place and worth fighting for. Thank you very very much!
