Nowadays, students have a lot of opportunities in the education sector. However, some universities require students to take classes in many subjects, but there are universities that require students to major in one subject. In my viewpoint, learning different classes are more effective and right than deepening knowledge in one subject. To begin with, in this century, everything is developing very fast and through learning different courses, a student can get access to knowledge and resources in different areas. The skills that you gain during university classes will help you in the future, for instance, if you need to find a job, having more than one required skill will increase your chance of being applied. Learning a variety of subjects not only gives knowledge but also builds the foundation of the topic, which will help to specialize in one subject, after studying all relevant subjects. Also, it is too boring to listen to lectures only about the same thing every day. The second reason is that subjects mostly are connected and it’s hard to learn one subject without having information about other subjects. Furthermore, in this modern world computer science and other subjects are related to each other and support each other. For example, if you learn programming, it will be good if you have at least basic knowledge of math, English, and physics. Maybe the majority o f people think that they need to specialize only in one field but students who graduated with a variety of courses during university have lots of experience and more opportunities to choose their future or career. To sum up, learning many subjects seems to be a perfect choice over deepening your knowledge in one subject because in the nearest future you will already have enough knowledge to decide in which field you want to specialize, and will find a good job, also all subjects are connected and it’s hard to use only one.
