In recent years, technology has played an important role in human life. Can you imagine a road full of automobiles and no human drivers in sight? Sure, there are advantages and disadvantages to this driverless automobile idea. The force presently utilizes driverless vehicles and discovers that these benefits outweigh these disadvantages, but in our daily lives, what are the advantages and disadvantages of utilizing driverless cars? I believe that driverless vehicles will be a great idea for society and we need to make sure that they do not become a threat to our health or safety.
On the one hand, the convenience of the potential of driverless cars is that it would save us time and money by eliminating accidents. Those smart robots always follow the rule and never use dangerous equipment. If you have to drive, you always have to keep your eyes open, but these automobiles will help you to drive to reduce the risks of drunk driving. It also fulfills consumers’ demands such as getting more information about their cars. This could lead to a better quality of life for people who are not able to afford expensive cars.
On the other hand, is that there are many disadvantages of driverless cars. The first disadvantage is that they lead to higher costs, including fuel, maintenance costs, and the ensure safety cost that a vehicle or driver can use in emergencies. The second disadvantage is that they may cause accidents or even death because of the high speed, low level of safety, and hacking system. Dependent on technology is also another disadvantage. People gradually become lazy and be controlled by machines, which can lead to job loss for people who work with cars.
In conclusion, while technology has created a new generation of highly wealthy individuals, I am convinced that it has also given equal opportunities for all to thrive.
