There is a debate among people that whether the sports play a vital role in society or it is just a way to spend leisure time. In this case, I strongly believe that sports has a crucial role to bring harmony among community member. Although, some people take it as a fun, It has numerous direct or indirect benefits to the society.
On the one hand, All kind of games has a significant contribution to connect with community people. If a football league is organise in a certain community, several players will take part in the game and most of the individuals will gather to see the match which helps to connect them with each other. Moreover, fund can be raised for good cause from such activity. For example: Budget collected through the sponsor can be given to the flood victims in the community.
On the other hand, some society members who doesn’t know the real value of sports take it as just a leisure activity. These people consider there job has only the prime role for their family. They think that buying a sports materials such as uniforms, bats, balls is just a waste of money. Furthermore, some sports are addictive to some people which is really bad for them. For example: nowadays, young generations are addictive to digital game such as; PUBG mobile that hinders their personal development.
In conclusion, despite few people find sports as a leisure activity, It plays a considerable role to the overall development of a society.
