Some individuals believe that youngsters should learn the art of cooking as it is an essential skill to acquire. While others disregard of this idea and suggests that cooking should only be learned once the person is a grown up. From my point of view, although, the idea of juveniles being in kitchen does not sound too safe but it is the young age when all the important skills of life should be acquired. I will be discussing both of the points and support my reasoning. It is true that young ones are not capable of handling the work load of working in the kitchen by themselves and it can even lead to some disaster if they are not under supervision of an adult as any normal kitchen would include many equipments which are to be handled with care such as sharp knifes or burner stove. Which is why some people in society are convinced that youngsters should only work on their cullinary skills once they are an adult. However, if they never get familiar with the process of cooking at all at their young age then it can be detrimental as well because this might lead them to not having any interest in cooking or working in the kitchen and even if they try to, it will not be an easy job as they would have to start it from the basic and spend more time and energy into learning all the things and as an adult its more difficult to find enough free time to learn new things. For instance, a person moving out of the hometown with some prior knowledge on how to operate an oven because maybe he used to help his mother would have an easier time cooking as compared to an adult who never even went into the kitchen before. In conclusion, although working in kitchen comes with some risks but it is worth taking for a better and easier future and it should be parents job to guide their child and help them to learn the basics under their supervision.
