Adolescents have different opinions about whether they are more or less competitive than others nowadays. In my opinion, modern education forces them to be more understanding of great ideas of winning than others were in the past. Therefore, having competition among teenagers generally has a positive competitive advantage. To begin with, it seems that there are several reasons why the competitive structure is more efficient. Firstly, individual sports would be better for teaching children to rely on their skills and abilities and to be independent-spirited. It means that a competitive sports day helps them to try their best so that they can be proud of their achievements. For example, a person playing chess may use all their brain capacity to rival others. As a result, their win or failure would depend on themselves. So if they attain their goal, their parents and coach would be proud of them, which means they understand their efforts have paid off. Secondly, in a competitive approach, children could be taught the concepts of fair play, dignity, and self-discipline, which are critical skills needed in adult life. This means that a corrival system likelihood helps people figure out their strengths and weaknesses so as to prepare for the world of real work due to the fact that they have to compete with others daily. However, team sports may foster a sense of belonging and respect for both team and opponent, while individual work could enhance willpower and perseverance. Thus, competitive ones may have done their assignment with determination because their choices in the competition field either put their lives at risk or put them on the verge of success. In conclusion, as mentioned before, individual rivalries could have myriad benefits, as they would develop an inner personality and bring positive evolution for a person. I highly recommend that children be exposed to rivalry positions to acquire crucial lessons from adult life.
