Some people believe that universities should only accept students with the highest marks while others believe that some students with low marks should have an opportunity. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Certain section of people agree to allow only highest marks students in universities, however the other think that even the low marks obtained students should be provided with the opportunities. In my opinion, even the students with less marks scoring abilities should be given an opportunity. Firstly, if universities allow only toppers to get admitted in their instituties, there would be a greater competition among the students and a high standards will be maintained which is actualy really great. In some aspects it is good for the educational instituituins as they get the required fame. Scores secured by the students are used by many universities to determine if the student is intelligent or no. There is no other way around to scale someone's intelligence. And students burn the midnight to oil to get these score therefore they deserve to be amomg those who are of same intelliegence. However, scoring less points donot point to the fact that the person is not bright enough. And marks obtained cannot be the measure of Intelligence. There are some students who are not good academically or cannot perform well in competitive exams due to varoious reasons but are extremely talented and deserve to get good opportunities as much as toppers do. For instance, Thomas Edisonwas not good at acadamics, and hence was coonsidered a dull student, but few years later he discovered an Incandescent Light Bulb. Hence one cannot limit the meaning of intelligence in just scoring good marks. To conclude, all the students irrespective of their marks should be given equal opportunites, meaning of intelligence cannot be limited to good grades and marks cannot define someone's intelligence.
