Tourism is an indispensable source of income for many nations and individuals. In addition, some folks deem that some areas are susceptible to culture loss, and therefore they should be closed entirely to tourists; however, others insist that this activity is not pervasive for local folks. This essay shall discuss both the views, emulated by my opinion.
To embark with, supporters of prohibiting tourism often argue that religion, customs, linguistic and socio-economic are affected by the influx of tourists. In addition, juveniles may emulate exotic practices and customs instead of their traditional culture. For example, overseas folks have worn modern and up-to-date clothes. As a result, indigenous tribes may adopt the foreign culture, and it may create a jeopardy situation for that tourist place.
However, tourism has brought new enhancements, created more opportunities for local ones, and generated the local economy. Besides,
this versatile activity will augment the ratio of employment, and also promote a small and innovative business through tourism. To exemplify, Gujarat, which is one of the prominent places of tourism in India, is more emphasis on the marketing of tourism with the succor of any prominent celebrity. As a result, a small village has a chance to develop and also the source of bread-and-butter for individuals.
I opine that bureaucrats and local folks should more emphasis on the traditional culture and how to promote the succor of tourism activity. To illustrate, many developing nations have organized a special event for exotic people to preserve their values and traditions.
