Some people believe that all students should be made to have an unpaid job in their free time. Do you agree or disagree?

Student life is full of opportunities and vast learning experience. Students made to do an unpaid job in their leisure time is debatable. In this essay I will discuss it not viable for students who do unpaid jobs in their extra time. On the one hand, many students in their free time are made to do jobs without any compensation because many countries have culture that in early life everyone should work during summer holidays, in order to gain some experience and make them spend time in a professional working environment, which eventually will help them in their lives. Likewise UK's goverment have made compulsary for the students to make use of there leisure time. On the other hand, when these youngsters do paid jobs then they feel motivated towards their work and also put extra efforts in it, because when they get paychecks then they can buy stuff for themselves and can also save money. Additionally these jobs help them in their finances and they spend it where they normally can not because of its limitation. Recent research conducted by Harvard university in 2015, proved that students who do paid jobs do better in studies than the former one. To conclude this, job experience of any kind is beneficial for young people as it helps in self development and teaches work ethics. From my point of view, in order to make most of it, they must be given opportunity to do paid jobs.
