It is often argued by some people that it is quite beneficial for students to grow up in a boarding school, while others argue that it is better to stay with family. In this essay I will discuss both views and come to a conclusion.
When we talk about the lifestyle of students in a boarding school, the very first thing we can notice is that children of different age doing teamwork and taking care of themselves. They learn to introduce themselves to others and learn the importance of education because there is no one to remind them about studies. At home parents take care of everything eg: homework, food, time to sleep etc. For instance, a survey has shown that the students of boarding school are capable of living in many different circumstances and can easily cope up.
However, children living with their parents have got a more flexible life. They don"t have to follow a fixed routine. They can participate in other extracurricular activities apart from just attending school. Slowly and steadily as they keep growing they learn to take care of their parents. They can focus more on studies as they don't have to worry about anyother thing. Most importantly, they build a soft heart towards their parents. For example, researchers have found that the average children who spent their parents are looking after them at their elderly age. As they spent most time at home during student life, parents got the time to teach them the importance of taking care and looking after the family.
In conclusion, students who have been to boarding school learn a lot of things about self care and importance of studies. Meanwhile, students who remained with their family learned to be a good person in life. In my opinion, people who learn the importance of taking care of family and stand beside their parents in their needs, are the most desired children. Studying in boarding school is not a great opinion from my prespective.
