I prefer to learn extended subject areas. I think there is a couple of advantages to understanding a broad subject.
First of all, you can have some information about various subjects and confirm which one is your taste to be sophisticated on it further.
Furthermore, if you have broad knowledge, you can connect them, improve outcomes, or create something new.
To sum up, in my opinion, it is more beneficial to take courses in various subjects.
