Should parents live separately

There has always been arguments in different cultures over the Idea that whether grandparents should live together with their families or on their own. However I believe that it is more beneficial when grandparents live separately. Those who say extended family is the best way to make sure that everybody gets the ful emotional support which is particularly the case when the elderly become ill. Secondly, personal security would also increase because of extended families as robbers would probably hesitate to get into houses with full of people. Additionally, Extended families would allow individuals would allow families to spend less on expenses such as utility bills and food. On the other hand, as individuals get older it is of crucial importance for them to be self reliant. This is because in many societies where families are dual income meaning that they might not have enough time to take care of the elderly people. What is more grandparents also prefer to see their grandchildren less frequently rather than daily as noisy environment can negatively effect on their psychological and eventually physical well-being In conclusion it seems that it's better when families live separately rather than in extended families as this would allow the elderly people to be more self reliant and live more peaceful life which is older people want utmost, afterall
