This energy is not converted into exhaust gases and does not pollute the environment. Therefore, the advantage of these vehicles is that they are environmentally friendly. Ecology is of serious concern to the entire population of our planet. Switching to options that do not harm our ecosystem is a matter of survival. Electric cars are also considered more comfortable, much quieter and smoother to drive than their gas-powered relatives. Another pleasantly surprising feature is that their acceleration rate is extreme. Another great addition to owning an electric car is that the maintenance of these cars is much cheaper due to the small number of moving parts. Moreover, owners of electric vehicles can be proud of significantly reduced energy dependence. Despite all the advantages of electric vehicles, internal combustion engines have a number of significant advantages over them. One of the main factors that probably keeps people from buying electric cars is their driving range. Thus, fuel-powered cars are more reliable in terms of long-distance travel. Moreover, some remote areas do not necessarily guarantee regular electricity supply. For example, a trip by electric car in developing countries, such as Africa or Latin America, may not take place at all due to a shortage of electricity, as people lack it even for household needs. Another disadvantage of electric vehicles is long-term charging at the station. In contrast, in order to refuel a regular car, you only need to stop for about 5 minutes at a gas station to fill it with gasoline. Moreover, there are many more gas stations across the country than charging points. In conclusion, it should be noted the advantages of electric vehicles. They are cheaper and more efficient to maintain. In addition, they do not harm the environment. On the other hand, fuel cars are better suited for long-distance trips and refuel faster. I am sure that the future belongs to electric vehicles, because fuel-powered cars have fewer advantages. However, it may take time for electric vehicles to become more common so that charging and maintenance issues can be resolved.
