Planting a Rose Cutting Step by Step

Planting or gardening a plant might be easy in your thought, but it was very difficult and complex in real life. Last month, I visited to my grandma’s house and I saw my grandma was watering her rose plant. I fell in love with the rose at first sight and then I asked her how to plant a rose. When I got back to my home, I started and prepared to plant a rose cutting in my garden. It was my grandma who told me to do this idea. First things first, I collected the necessary materials for the rose cutting such as mother rose plant, rooting powder, hand pruner, scissors, shovel, rose gloves, a flowerpot, potting mix, watering can and etc. After all, I picked a sunny spot to plant my rose and prepared the potting mix soil into the flowerpot. Then I wore rose gloves and cut the stem above the first set of leaves from mother plant by using hand pruner. Second step, I put the rose cutting directly into water containing B1 because it’s very important for the rose cutting to stay hydrated so that they won’t dry out before I plant them. After doing this, I removed all of the leaves except the ones at the top and dipped the end of the rose cutting into a rooting powder. Having done all of this methods step by step, finally I placed the rose cutting into the soil of my flowerpot. Be aware of these points that the rose plant needs minimum 8 hours sunlight and moderate water but doesn’t like wet soil. The most important thing for successful rose cutting is that they remain moist. So, water them frequently if the weather is warm, and this will not lead to wither and perish.
