you recently bought an item of clothing from a shop. You discovered that it had a fault and returned it to the shop for replacement or refund. However ,the assistant told you that this was against store policy.

Dear Sir/madam, My name is smith. I recently purchased a brand new jeans from your store which was slightly damage from back side but the store owner denied to replace the piece. So I am writing this letter for asking your help and sort it out this issue as soon as possible. When I tried the jeans it was completly in a good condition but at the cash counter the sellsmen provide the different piece with same colour and he assured that you do not have to worry, the piece is in good condition. Additionally, he also guaranteed for replacing the piece for any unusual things find from given piece. Therefore, I trusted the on that shop worker but when I wear the jeans at home I found it was tear out form the back side then I immediately went back to store for replacing the piece but the store owner denied for replacing the piece. Further he also said that it was against his store policy. I hope you can understand the situation.
