The pie charts illustrate the major purpose for using phones of juveniles in a particular country in Africa over a course of three years from 2016 to 2019. In general, the statistics of segments varied slightly throughout the period. Additionally, social media platforms dominated other sectors in terms of main aims for using phones of the young. As far as the data revealed, the time which adolescents devoted to using social networking sites proclaimed the first position during that time frame with an increase by 6%. It doubled email, the following part, at the starting point with the disparity between them was 25%. In spite of being in second place, email witnessed a downward trend and was surpassed by digital camera at the end of the period with just 1% less than. Further inspections of digital camera experienced, after remaining stable on a plateau at 15%, it peaked at 20% in 2019. Moreover, phone calls not only bottomed out at under 15% but also sinked by 5% over the same 3-year course. At the end of the period the figure for phone calls equaled one-tenth compared with the time teenagers dedicated to the cyber world
