the honeybee's life from an egg to laying its own eggs
the honeybee's life from an egg to laying its own eggs 21bOM
In this round shaped diagram can be seen the honeybee's journey of life. There are total of six stages in the honeybee's life from an egg to laying its own eggs.
Everything starts with the layed eggs and they hatch after 9-10 days. It takes about 5 days for the bee to Crowl out of the egg. Now we are already approximately in the middle of the cycle. A week after coming out of the egg the bee starts to grow significantly. The bee's nymph actually sheds its skin three times as it grows. Then it makes to its young adult stage where the bee already has its stripes. After that only four days passes by, and the bee has completely matured, and female bees are ready to lay their eggs which they do every three days.
It takes a little over a month, 34-36 days, to complete the whole life cycle. In comparison to humans, physical growing happens in a month whereas humans can take sometimes up to 20 years to grow.
