People prefer to watch foreign films rather than locally produced ones. Why do you think this happens? Should government support local film makers financially?

In many countries, usually in developed countries, people watch international movies as compared to those, which are produced in their country. there are many reasons of this booming trend and from my point of view, the government should contribute to the progress of local movies. To commence with, people prefer to watch movies produced in other countries, the main reason is that because of the quality of the movies, as the movies which are produced locally has lack of infrastructure and they do not touched hearts of people. moreover, hollywood movies are more enjoyable as compared to locally produced one's because they have fully skilled actor/actresses who can perform different types of characters. for instance, the animated and graphically produced movies in other countries attracts people and because of lack of budget many developing countries can not afford this and this, people prefer to watch movies produced in foreign countries for their entertainment. In my opinion, government should provide scholarship to local movie makers. so that they should go foreign to learn more acting skills to develop their film industry. moreover, each country has talented producers and actors but because of lack of finance cannot give their best. they should be given chance to prove themselve. No doubt big budget is required to produce films and the government should provide subsidies to film makers to compete with foreign countries and to increase the growth of local film industry. To conclude that, government should provide financial help to local film makers to produce films so that they can earn money and fame for country.
