people are living longer than ever before ,at the same time the young population is declining while the number of old people is rising .will this development be a benefit for the society?what are the advantages and disadvantages of having more old people in the country?

Life expectancy of the humans is increasing compared to the past. Simultaneously the youth count is reducing while the old individuals number is growing. As a result it may become a drawback for the community. This situation is advantageous in some ways. Firstly as the population of elder citizens increases, it will help in the cultural and overall development of children. For example based on the survey conducted by US Chiltone University it is found that children who live with their grandparents scored good results. Secondly, as the youth population decreases employment increases due to diminished competition. For example employment rate in India is less when compare d to Nepal whereas their their trend in youth population is exact opposite. The disadvantages in this situation are also numerous. Firstly, as the youth count drops the development also drops simultaneously because maximum of the innovative ideas are originated and developed by the youth only. For example, India with huge youth population is developing rapidly. Secondly due to rise in aged people there will be decrease in freedom of next generation as their elders will force their ideas and goals to their children which leads to mental pressure. Recently a survey conducted by Russian organization named 'ZHON' discovered that most of the suscides are due to mental pressure by their parents. Therefore, as a result compared to advantages the disadvantages more thus the situation is drawback for the society.
