It is true that ordinary people try to copy famous by either the us of magazines or by watching their shows on TV. I would say that that it would have a profound influence on people on how they operate, think & argue in their life.
On one hand, people copying from famous people is a good thing as it can some times motivates a person to do things or learn things which he would not do at all in his life, a perfect example would be of my friend who use to hate working on computer he always refuse to use computer for his work but from a movie related to hacking made him go wild and from then on he started to learn computer with all earnestly in order to become a proper hacker. There are also many advantages of this practice and one of them should be that it can also enhance the person personality to change to that of a proper ethics.
On the other hand, the disadvantage for this practice can be very drastic to as it can change a person behaviour to become something unsavoury and problematic and sometime also lead towards sociological issue. There is also risk for a person to start walking a wrong path because of being influenced by a certain villainous act of an actor, children are the prime example for this influence.
So to conclude we should try to copy the person which we like and try to absorb its good parts of his character, habits & overall personality in order to become a great benefit to the society.
