The problem of health has generated much concern among people. Truth be told, health issues are becoming more and more serious, and common sense shows that people's lifestyle is getting more inactive and unhealthy. Thus, it is the aim of this essay to unveil the reasons behind this phenomenon and propose solutions to address it.
To begin with, it is the hectic life and the modern world that make people less active. As the world is changing and developing rapidly, people also have to work extra hard to keep up with that pace. Consequently, at the end of the day, many workers and also students are so overburdened and exhausted with their work that they do not have enough time and strength left to eat and sleep properly, not to mention exercise. Secondly, nowadays, people are overly drawn into the virtual world. This is especially common among children and youngsters who are always willing to spend all twenty-four hours lying in bed, watching television, or playing games. This situation is even more serious after the covid 19 pandemic. Since people are stuck in their homes, while there exist some people who try to create a mini gym inside their home, a majority take advantage of this period as a chance to deeply emerge in the virtual world, of just sitting and using their technological devices all day long.
To alleviate this problem, the responsibility lies in the human being. The first step is that they have to be aware of the terrible status quo and the horrendous consequences of their lifestyles. Without this self-awareness, nothing can be improved in the long run. At this point, it is my suggestion that everyone should have a fixed time during the day to take care of their health. It can be only a five-minute meditation or an hour doing cardio, depending on the schedule and the current ability of each person. Gradually, people may be surprised by how better their health is as they may feel more energized and as a result, may be more efficient in their work.
In conclusion, although there are various inevitable causes of an inactive lifestyle, people should take their health into serious consideration and try to improve it little by little.
