Nowadays, communication became much easier with the development of technology. With this development, people now can communicate more efficiently without moving to somewhere. Some people especially, office workers use this technology for working in their home. However many people like me, prefer to work in a workplace because they are easily in their home. In this essay, I will explain why some people find working from home more beneficial and later, I will explain why some people thinks that working from a workplace is better.
In today’s modern world, many people prefer to work from home because it is time saving. In big cities like Paris or Istanbul, traffic, is a huge time consumer. Many people who live in these big cities, usually do not live in proximity of their office. Because of this reason, people can not spend time with their family or can not do any other leisure activity. For example, generally speaking, in Istanbul, travelling from home to an office usually takes 45 minutes. Overall, many people prefer to work from their home because it is time saving.
On the other hand, some people like me may not be able to concentrate while working from their home. Homes do not have the “work ambiance”, because of this, it can be sometimes distracting. Human’s can be easily distracted by anything, this can be an object, a person in the house. This can slow down the work efficiency of work. For example, I have experienced online learning during the pandemic. I do not think I work efficiently. Overall, working from home can be distracting and can slow down the work process.
