In the past, the greatest number of people lived in a small community where they were born and grew up. But in the modern world, many people tend to live in large cities and the people’s lives are more and more different than before. Anyway, there are the advantages and disadvantages of living in small villages.
It is thought that the life of a small community has three benefits. Firstly, crimes have been usually manageable because the population is limited. For this reason, people living in the countryside could pay more attention to earning money and other concerns than citizens. Secondly, the suburb has a peaceful and friendly community so it will make your day better after a busy day. Lastly, life in a small neighborhood makes our life easier. It means that everyone knew everyone so this would hold people from a stronger relationship and they would support each other when they had problems
On the other hand, living in a small community also has a lot of disadvantages. Basically, living on the outskirts will stay far away from the city center which means you will lack jobs or earn less money. Similarly, it is also hard to find good conditions like the quality of education, health-care, . . as well if you are an extroverted person you will not like the life of countryside because it is a boring lifestyle. Small communities don’t have interesting places with entertainment like big cities.
In conclusion, the disadvantages of living in a small community are greater than the advantages. Life in a big city will have more chances for work and have more money to pay for life. What's more, the city center has more interesting and better-living conditions than the countryside.
