Welcome, everyone, I'm Diem Thanh, a member of grade 11A2, I went to Welfare High School and I'm from Vietnam. Well, as you've seen, we've only got a few weeks to go by the end of 2022. What regrets do you have that you haven't had the time to do it? If not, you are a hardworking and responsible person. If you're not finished, do n't get downhearted or disappointed, finish it next year. Talk about New Year's, your country, or your home, how do you celebrate New Year? It was a fun thing at home, and it was a time for people to be reunited with their families. Unlike other countries, my country has a traditional Chinese influence so we celebrate the New Year with the lunar calendar. The New Year was common for people to gather with their families to celebrate the New Year, and we would take such activities as: cooking banh chung, seasoning, going from house to house for the New Year, as well as doing other activities, such as storming the ground and tet's trees. We also have such taboos as: Sweeping the house, because from the old point of view, sweeping the house is the sweep of your luck outside, so the first three days of the year do not sweep the house, arguing, and all years are bad luck. There's one great idea of storming the ground, and this is an act that the first person who comes into the house on New Year's Day will decide what the whole year will be, and usually the landlord will select his age partner as the leader of the year. It sounded superstitious, but most were yearly activities in the country. During this period, there were also trade fairs opened to sell items related to Tet, where we could encounter a great deal of market for april-day flowers in the south and peach blossoms in the north. It is also a time when new clothes, new household items, or the gifts themselves are made available. Tet is a time when people will return to their homes, and my family welcomes important times, so I love tet very much. No matter how young I am or how old I am, New Year's is a festival I've always enjoyed very much. See how your house or country will welcome the New Year, so tell me again. Have a good day, goodbye.
